Amputation of Oil Field Worker

A twenty-three (23) year old driver of oil field equipment was severely injured when rig parts he transported fell on his right foot. The impact of the fallen parts on his foot was so substantial that his entire right leg, up to his knee, had to be amputated. He now needs a prosthetic leg for the rest of his life and he has lost his ability to be a commercial truck driver. Amputation of an Electrician

A thirty-five (35) year old electrician at an automotive parts plant was severely injured when he was performing maintenance on a German made air lay machine. His injuries were so severe that three (3) of his fingers had to be amputated. His livelihood as an electrician was taken from him and his employer terminated his employment.The Svambera Law Firm, PLLC filed suit on behalf of the electrician alleging that the German manufacturer was negligent in causing the electrician's injuries. Mesothelioma of a Pipefitter/Welder

Asbestosis of a Pipefitter/Laborer

A fifty-five (55) year old pipefitter/laborer was diagnosed with asbestosis many years after being exposed to asbestos at a shipyard, paper mill, steel mill, power plant, as well as while working at chemical plants and refineries. Over time, his condition became worse, and eventually he had to have one of his lungs surgically removed. Fatality due to Burns from Plant Explosion/Fire

Fatality due to 18 wheeler/Trucking Crash
